Without a doubt, 2020 has certainly been a challenging year for the automotive industry. But that hasn’t stopped manufacturers from delivering new pickup trucks packed with innovative features, improved performance, and more capability than ever before. Here are seven trucks that are new or have undergone changes for the 2020 model year.

2020 Chevrolet Silverado RST Rally Edition

The 2020 Chevrolet Silverado RST Rally Edition is a special edition package for those who want their truck to stand out on the road. The Rally Edition builds on the RST’s already unique street-inspired styling and takes it a step even further. A body-color grille, 22” black wheels, black Bowties, black badging and black rally stripes on the hood and tailgate are added to transform the RST into arguably the most sinister truck in the Silverado lineup. The RST Rally Edition is available with three powertrain options—a 2.7L V6, 5.3L V8, and powerful 420-hp 6.2L V8.

2020 Jeep Gladiator Mojave

The wild popularity of the Wrangler inspired Jeep to build the Gladiator—a pickup version of its most successful off-road SUV. The Jeep Gladiator Mojave pushes the limits of its off-road capability to new heights and becomes the company’s first ever desert rated vehicle in 2020. With a groundbreaking desert-tuned suspension and rugged components built to withstand the heat, sand, and extreme terrain, there is no better truck to crest sand dunes and embark upon a desert adventure with.

2020 GMC Canyon Denali Diesel

Equipped with the highest level of luxury in the 2020 GMC Canyon lineup, the Denali is loaded with heated and ventilated leather seats, a heated steering wheel and soft-touch surfaces throughout the cabin. Outside, 20” diamond cut aluminum wheels and projector beam LED headlights help the Denali to deliver a bold statement on the road. While the 3.6L V6 is standard, an available 2.8L Duramax turbo-diesel engine delivers a class-leading 369 lb-ft of torque, 28-mpg highway and a 7,600-lb tow rating.

2020 Ford Ranger Lariat

Like the Denali, the Lariat is the top trim level for the 2020 Ford Ranger. Eight-way adjustable heated front leather seats and a 10-speaker, 675 watt B&O sound system ensure that the Lariat’s cabin is filled with the finer things in life. With available 4×4, an electronic locking rear differential, and a powerful 2.3L EcoBoost engine delivering 270 horsepower, 310 ft-lb of torque, and up to 26-mpg highway, the 2020 Ranger Lariat has the performance and efficiency to match its striking looks.

2020 Ram 1500 Rebel

The 2020 Ram 1500 Rebel is the clear choice for enthusiasts who have a tendency to wander off the beaten path. Equipped with an aggressive factory suspension lift and 33” Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac all-terrain tires, the Rebel isn’t content to merely trek on asphalt. It’s most comfortable off-road—where it’s electronic locking rear differential and tow hooks are equipped to rescue mere mortal trucks along the way. Inside, laser engraved dark ruby red trim and seats adorned with Rebel tire tread inserts never allow passengers to overlook the truck’s ever-persistent off-road DNA.

2020 Ford F-150 Raptor

The 2020 Ford Raptor is positioned at the crest of the mountaintop among full-size off-road performance trucks. While many of its competitors share similar components like locking differentials, off-road tuned suspensions, and aggressive all-terrain tires, none of the others perform quite like the Raptor when the pavement ends. Not to mention, no other off-road truck packs the power of the Raptor’s 3.5L EcoBoost engine that produces a thrill-seeking 450 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque. Equipped with Fox line valve monotube dampers, these class-exclusive shocks provide continuously variable compression damping that automatically adjusts to changing terrain.

2020 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro

Despite the current generation model dating back to 2007, the Toyota Tundra remains one of the most popular and reliable trucks in the segment. While Toyota’s full-size pickup may be growing a little long in the tooth, the changes for the 2020 Tundra TRD Pro are anything but stale. The TRD Pro receives a new suspension package fitted with Fox 2.5-inch internal bypass shocks and new TRD springs that increase wheel travel in the front and rear by 1.5” and 2.5” respectively. Dressed in model-exclusive Army Green paint, the 2020 Tundra TRD Pro looks downright lethal and equipped for battle. With respect to the terrain ahead, the mud, snow, and sand don’t even stand a chance.
